Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets forth Georgia State University’s (“GSU”) policy with respect to the gathering and dissemination of information we obtain from you on the web site for Georgia State University located at (“Site”) and its departmental web pages. This Privacy Policy describes the type of information GSU and its Service Providers collect from visitors to this Site, what we do with that information, and how visitors can update and control the use of information provided on this Site.

If using a credit or debit card to place your order, you must supply your credit card information along with the corresponding mailing information. This information is required to fulfill your order. Your credit card information is not stored on our server; it is simply passed on to the credit card processing system for validation.

GSU recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information. We never sell your personally identifiable information to third parties.

All information collected from you is used to authenticate you as a qualified purchaser.

Information related to the order of a product may be provided to the appropriate supplier. The supplier uses this information for order fulfillment and/or support purposes.

Your information is not sold, traded, or rented to others.

We do employ other companies to perform certain functions on our behalf, including order fulfillment and delivery, as well as credit card processing.  These business affiliates have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but are not permitted to use your personal information for any other purpose.

Additionally, product information is shared with the supplier of the particular product, for support purposes.  This may include your name and the date of your order.

This privacy policy only applies to GSU and does not necessarily describe information collection policies on other sites, such as separate sites operated by our Service Providers that we do not control. Many of the resources linked from this Web site are not maintained by GSU. GSU cannot monitor all linked resources, only those pages which fall directly within the GSU world-wide web structure. GSU is in no way responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these linked resources and the statements, views, and opinions expressed therein are neither endorsed by nor do they necessarily reflect the opinion of the GSU.

Georgia State University uses cookies, tags, and other similar technologies. Cookies are small pieces of data that may be stored by a Web browser.
